Preface to CCGPP documents

The CCGPP Literature Syntheses Chapters and Reports

THERE ARE A NUMBER OF DOCUMENTS PRODUCED BY CCGPP TEAMS THAT ARE POSTED ON THIS SITE. MOST ON THIS PAGE ARE LITERATURE SYNTHESES AND REPORTS THAT FOLLOW BELOW, PRIMARILY BY ANATOMIC REGION. OTHERS ARE FORTHCOMING. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO ACCESS EACH.

A Request For Stakeholder Feedback

SUBMITTING FEEDBACK: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Stakeholder comment is requested as previously, and this should be directed to CCGPP at: ccgpp@sc.rr.com

CCGPP "Published Documents" are listed on a separate page on this web site. CCGPP will leave drafts and completed chapters, as well as methodology and other related information on this site indefinitely, but comments in regard to each of the eight best practices clinical chapters (see guide for commenting on clinical chapters below) will only be harvested for 60 days from the posting date.

Stakeholders, including chiropractic providers, patients, third party payers, students, other health care providers and others are asked to provide feedback regarding each of the eight clinical chapters as they are posted. A guide for replying follows this paragraph. Stakeholder organizations, including state associations, national associations, chiropractic colleges, and other interested organizations, are asked to provide specific summary comments, preferably by organizing a committee of interested members to review and comment on each of the eight clinical chapters in the document. Comments should be sent electronically in a Word or PDF format.

RESPONSE FRAMEWORK TO CONSIDER IN REGARD TO EACH POSTED CLINICALCHAPTER: STAKEHOLDERS ARE TO CONSIDER THESE QUESTIONS

1) Do the documents address the clinical issues most commonly seen in chiropractic practice, providing adequate information to form a rational basis for evaluation and treatment options?

2) Bearing in mind that more chapters are forthcoming on other topics, are there any related disorders / conditions or diagnostic procedures commonly used by doctors of chiropractic that were not included in the current review of literature? If so, what? Include specific literature citations and include the page number and specific conclusion/recommendation you wish to comment upon. Information can be emailed to ccgpp@sc.rr.com or mailed to CCGPP, PO Box 2542, Lexington, SC, 29071.

3) With regard to the organization, readability and utility of the documents, do you have any suggestions or comments? Recall that this is a literature synthesis and not the final educational instrument (the Chiropractic Clinical Compass©), which will have a very user-friendly format.

4) Are there any other pertinent comments or concerns?

THE COMMENT PERIODS FOR PREVIOUSLY POSTED CHAPTERS ARE NOW CLOSED AND INFORMATION RECEIVED IS CURRENTLY BEING EXAMINED PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE FINAL VERSIONS OF THESE CHAPTERS IN 2009.
